I won’t be disclosing every pic or element of the trip (or of my life for that matter) – some things are meant to be kept sacred- but one of my most memorable days in Fiji kicked off with a must-share spa sesh. I love a good massage, however a treatment that involves a calming jacuzzi soak followed by a PURE FIJI coconut oil-infused back rub on the beach? It was a dream. I felt pretty nice after that massage and a few tastes of this thing definitely put the cherry on top.IMG_8803 IMG_8927 IMG_9004 IMG_9010photo 1After some post-spa pool time, we headed to Port Denarau to play tourist and visit one of Fiji’s main hubs. From there we explored our way down the beach to find ourselves “resort hopping” as we checked out The Sofitel and Westin, sipped cocktails and munched on artichoke bruschetta poolside (in TopShop & Aqua; Similar looks here & here).photo 2 photo Artichoke-Bruschettawestin-denarau-pool2-fiji flying-fish-restaurant-25760We ended up at The Sheraton’s beachfront restaurant, Flying Fish for dinner. No shoes, no shirt, no motto here-we literally dined on their seafood specialties with sand in between our toes and waves crashing a few feet away. fiji_festival_flyingfish_007 filename-pc170289-jpg she485re.155557_ubphoto 2And another ending of a striking sky to set the day in its place. Goodnight good world.
