Time permitting, I like to find a window of my afternoon for me. It’s part of that long list of rezo’s I told you about over New Years. You know, the one that’s not written down.
I found myself at the Venice Canals. I’m lucky enough to live a walk away to jet over for a quick taste of tranquility. The tame water, the boats, the homes, it’s all beautiful and needless to say a relaxing way to decompress after hours of non-stop. This place has so much character. Did you know it was built over 100 years ago?
Yes, It’s man-made. Mr. Abbot Kinney himself sought out to replicate Italy’s charming city in 1902.Sadly the original canals were filled in the 20’s due to the auto craze, but were then renovated and restored in the 90s’s into the niche neighborhood it is today.
Mmm what I’d give to boat around to my favorite coffee shops and restaurants. Can you imagine? So there’s your tid bit of history today. And my cool elbow patch sweater? That’s history too. But with that right imagination, you’ll get the look with my suggestions below.
