DSCF1835January is one of my favorite months of the year. It’s bitter sweet because there’s definitely that post holiday low. I really can never get enough of family, friends, and constant cheer (okay, sometimes a break is nice). Then, miraculously (once I make it over that January 2nd hump- you know, the sad day after the 36 hour celebration full of champagne toasts and brunches), I bring myself to a new world of opportunities and that book of blank pages.DSCF1836 DSCF1837 DSCF1839 DSCF1845 DSCF1847This year it’s taken more than a few days to truly reflect on my amazing year’s past and really contemplate what it is I want from 2015. I guess I’m one of those types who needs to have an official sit-down with my husband or loved one to hash out dreams and desires for the next 12 moths, and in all honesty I haven’t yet done so. Why? In truth there are so many things I want to make priority, so many goals I want to accomplish. I am completely overwhelmed when I have to put it on paper. DSCF1851 DSCF1850 DSCF1849(and yes, a manicure is somewhere on that long list)DSCF1853Motto of the story? I’m jet-setting into January (airplane shirt and all) with the outlook to take one motive a moment. One day at a time. And let myeslf let go…and let life.DSCF1856 DSCF1859New Year. New Hope.
