I feel like I haven’t talked to you all in awhile! How are ya? I’m back in LA and back to the grind, which I’m not upset about. I had a lovely time at Sundance hanging with my husband’s family, party hopping, movie watching and everything in between but at the end of the day I’m a homebody who always loves to get back to work! Today I’m debuting my wingtip wonders-what do you think of them? They were a special gift from my dad over Christmas. We went shopping for my mom one day and he saw me eyeing them at the Chanel store…well, he was actually the one who suggested I try the wingtip version on over the solid because he has a pair “that are classics and will never go out of style :).”  My dad has never set foot inside a Chanel anything so the fact that he not only went all the way back to the mall (another place her rarely makes an appearance), but made his way into the sacred shop is so cute and special alone. On the designer dud note, how about this scarf? It was my Grandma’s…she gave it to me years ago but it was only ’till recently that I started accessorizing with it. I played it down with this JOA cutout sweater dress (under $100!) but I love that it can be fancied up with something more sophisticated as well. It reminds me that a good designer piece is truly timeless and can be worn for many generations to come and I hope to pass it on someday myself.
