Since I tend to go light on the eyes most days, I like to let my lips to the talking. Whether brunch or happy hour, work or a wedding, here are my 6 shades for spring that you’ll want to get your hands on.

Red NARS Lipstick California1.Red: it’s classic and you can’t go wrong. This  NARs “Red Lizard” lipstick  is a solid shade that’s rich in color and will last long to make an ongoing impression without needing to reapply.

Coral MAC Lady Danger Lipstick California2.  Coral: this “Lady Danger” by MAC is so fun for the season! The secret to coral is mixing n’matching it with other brights to complement. Try a vivacious yellow or blue for a contrast, or go matchy matchy with a similar coral color blouse. A tan always helps, so this shade definitely comes in handy in the summer.

Berry Maybelline Lipstick California3. Berry: it can almost act as an exaggerated neutral if you wear it right. Try a strong shade like Maybelline’s “Burgundy Blush” where a little goes a long way.

Pink Chanel Lipstick California4. Pink: I don’t wear it often, but when I do, I make it count. I’m very particular about my pinks and Chanel’s “La Sensuelle” lends the perfect touch of pretty for any luncheon or girls night out.

Light Pink Rosie NARS Lipgloss California5.  Rose: not quite look at me, but not quite neutral either. NARS has a nice “Larger Than Life Coeur Sucre Gloss” that brings just enough life to the lip in a soft and subtle manner.

Nude MAC C-Thru Lipgloss California6.  Nude: I loveeee a good nude lipstick or gloss balanced out with a dark and smokey eye. I’ve used MAC’s C-Thru for years and it’s never failed me.
