If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s mixing high with low. I love to shop trends at affordable prices – after all they come and go with a blink of an eye so to spend a fortune on a fad is something I really try to veer away from. I go with the reverse theory on designer duds and spend that money well saved on timeless accessories like sunglasses, handbags and even shoes that can be worn over and over forever. This off the shoulder dress by LookBook is less than $20 – I mean, can you believe it?! Perfect for a summer wedding, lunch out with the ladies, or beach day. I spiced it up with my Prada sunglasses (rent them here along with hundreds of other designer shades using code: CARLYKENIHAN), my Grandmother’s old Chanel Bucket Bag (similar here), and old Black Pumps (similar here).  I love how the frock can easily be styled down with gladiators and a sun hat for vacay, or even stilettos and a blazer for a business meeting. Plus, do I dare mention the holidays?? Ok, a little early, but a girl can never have too many red dresses come December. Happy Almost Weekend!
