I told Hunter we wouldn’t do a 2nd birthday party. But then it turned into a little BBQ. Which then morphed its way into a small get together. And then I saw the moon themed invite, so naturally it turned into a moon themed party, which meant moon themed decor and dessert, and of course all the family and friends :)
No regrets here!
After all, there’s two of them, with one birthday party. So I told Hunter it was actually a really good deal LOL.
Anyway, we had a great time celebrating these kiddos! I love how it all came together and the peaceful, happy vibe was exactly what I imagined. The kids are just old enough to sort of understand the feeling of attention, and I think they totally loved being the center of it! They were glowing!
My favorite parts of the afternoon were watching Slater open and eat his wheat thins present (which is now in my Story highlights!) and it was pretty cute to watch him serve everyone cake (and watch everyone eat it after his dirty fingers were all over it haha). Zoe was just the queen, per usual. Fluttering around in her tutu, with her sweet but look at me smile. The best part was having a dance party with both to tropical house music – which btw I don’t know where he learned it, but pretty sure little man knows how to “floss!”
Thank you to Stars Above Balloons for the beautiful moon and star bouquet and to all of our loved ones who came to celebrate!
