remember when I shared on Instagram that Hunter and I started dating when he lived in San Diego? We’d hit up this train station and ride back and forth to see each other on the weekends?
Well, that’s not why we’re moving. But San Diego has always been a special place in our relationship, and will now become a special place for our family.
While a business opportunity for Hunter prompted the move, it will hopefully be good for us on many levels. I am nervous and I am sad. I’ve gone through the pros and cons for months, the ups and downs, the what ifs and even the tears. Because change is hard.
But I am excited. And my excitement is bigger than my fear. For while there is a lot of uncertainty in the unknown, there is also a lot of wonder.
It will be hard to leave my friendship circle, neighborhood and network in LA. But that’s okay! We will not be too far. My friends will always be my friends. I am lucky my business is mostly online. And guess what, I am taking the very most important thing with me, my family.
Whether the move is for now or forever it will be an adventure. Part of our journey. A chapter of our story. And as I was looking for a good family photo for this post I landed on this one of just Hunter and I at the tracks. Because this is where it all started. We are now taking our unit of four on a ride. And we are excited to keep chasing our dreams, one beach at a time.
