holiday improv

So you’ve heard my spiel on holiday party dressing, but what about those in-between days where there’s no specific event but you still want to look festive? You improvise. And you improvise with your current wardrobe. You all have some core basics in your closet, so pull out a good black pant or jean and a neutral sweater (you can even go for prints  like I did here with my stripes). Go bold with layers and accessories. If you have a leopard coat (you can get mine on sale here) or another fun pattern, just do it. Dig down for that colored clutch or wristlet. Dig hard, you know you have one. A solid red, green, even cobalt will do the trick (mine’s old Cynthia Rowley, but a similar style here). Now pump it up. You can never be over-dressed during the holidays (even if you’re running errands!) so a classic heel will complete any look. Now seal the deal with some red lips and you’re off! Easy said, easy done. <3
