New Years is such a significant holiday for me filled with many mixed emotions as I reflect on all my ups, downs and everything in between the last 12 months. From family trips to best friends getting married, my heart is filled with so many fond memories that it would be impossible to round up each deep, meaningful moment in words (or photos for that matter). I plan on finding an hour to contemplate my 2015 on the beach with nothing and no one around-and then ponder my resolutions for 2016, which I do plan to share in the next days, maybe week or so (let’s be honest, whose got all their rezzies actually prepared by January 1? NOT me). So until we meet again next year, here’s a few of my favorite looks from 2015 (many of which are still available)! Thank you for all of your constant support and I’ll see you in 2016!

1.Paige Denim on Denim: I loved that this look was so clean, classic with the perfect flare. Denim on denim is no longer a trend but a timeless look that will carry well into many years ahead.

2. Girl Next Door: shirt-dresses were definitely my thing in 2015 and I don’t plan on saying goodbye to them any time soon! And how bout that red wall? I’ll have to make my way back there for some more pics : )

3. The Eye-conic Tee: this was the beginning of my Pam & Gela love affair (since this photo I’ve probably worn the line a dozen times or so). All P & G talk aside, this photo captivates my go-to style aka a comfy tee and skinnies with a feminine pop of pumps. And can we talk about that pretty window reflection? A little cali-girl palm tree touch.

4. New York Minute: okay, so I lied a little. I love this pic not because of the look but the moment. It was so fun to be back in the heart of Meatpacking, reliving my NYC life for a second or two.

5. Denim default: the laid back version of number 3.

6. My happy place: had to throw Lake Arrowhead in there, and how cute was this Joie jumpsuit? It’s still available (shop below) and great for resort, vacays & Spring!

7. Street style: my everyday effortless edge. These Current Elliott Jeans are so comfy-also still avail (and on sale)!

8. That time I turned 30: okay, another special moment squeezed in. My birthday was such a memorable weekend spoiled by my husband, friends and family. This pic was taken at Nobu Malibu just before many more surprises that came in the next 48 hours!

9. Fave! I remember shooting this during the heat wave in August. Trying to be prepared for Fall fashion while sweating to the bone – haha. I still love this look so much though-something about the soft grey, pink & neutrals against the harsh streets of DTLA. Luckily the temp has dropped quite a bit so the coat has come in handy and my sexy Schutz lace ups are fully in stock BTW (shop below)!

10. Go shorty: it was so fun shooting this guy downtown too. To this day I live in that sweater, and the shorts are oh so comfortable. Don’t even get me started on the Badgley Mischka shoes. This was their debut and they’ve since been in repeat as you know (shop them in nude or black below)!

11. Cord-ination: You guys loved this! Funny it was a last minute look I put together (often the case), but it was a walk in the park winner. The Paige pants are still avail (and on sale!) and I linked a similar lace top!

12: Downtown Date Night: I had a ball rocking this frock. It’s not something I usually wear (I mean, I rarely get this dressed up), but I loved the dramatic neck and back lines mixed with the geometric print. There’re those booties again!

13. Slouchy-chic, silk edition: this was a mindblower! Again, one of those last minute looks that was not only the most comfortable outfit ever, but one that really got you gals goin. You can still get the pants, top & bag for the full look and it’s a perfect relaxed yet sophisticated style to shake in the new year.

14. Denim Shirt Dress: I’m telling you, the denim thing is not going anywhere. Whether it’s in skinny, skirted, flared or frock form, you can’t go wrong. I balanced this laid back Current Elliott dress out with my fun Valentino studded flats in this pic but boy have I outworn this number with sneakers and stilettos too. It’s so versatile (and so available)!

15. Canal Cozy: this one holds a special spot in my heart. It was that one look that got me officially excited for colder weather and need I mention it was the debut of my knee socks? I always get excited to bring those babies out each season. The sweater, skirt and socks are still avail and will take you well n’ warm into the next season.

16. Fancy Fountain Break: okay so this one was more about the shot than the look. It’s pretty amazing how I was literally breaking in between sets and my photographer somehow captured me taking a moment to take it in.

17. Cali Cool: another photography moment. It’s just a happy shot.

18. Hello Holidays! I bought this sweater anticipating buyers remorse but boy was my feelin-guilty-gut wrong. This cozy cardi has been my side-kick through all of December and happens to be on me  this very moment! I love that it’s festive but timeless with its deep red plaid personality and I love even more that it’s currently on sale (below)!

19. Dress Collector: twas the name of my post for the very reason that I realized I have way too many dresses-ha! Then I also realized there’s no such thing as too many dresses, so all is good in the (fashion) world.

20. Playing with the Repeat: I wore this dress probably four times in one week (with different people, I promise)! I had the most fun pairing it with my little socks & bun(bun) halfsie here. It’s a great staple and it’s a great sale item!

21. Plaid: that time I paired a little plaid prep with  white skinnies for a California Christmas inspired post. This one got a lotta love from you too <3

Sealed with a Bow Bonus: just for fun, another recent rendezvous that I so happen to love. I hope you all have a happy happy new year filled with glitz & glam! XOXO

Love the first look so much. Denim on denim is a must always and it looked great with your sleek bun! Your long legs look awesome in every look! Super effortless.
