re-inventing

Do you ever feel a tad uninspired when you open up your closet in the morning? Yeah, same story here. So when I feel like I’ve run out of options amongst my deep dark wardrobe, I try to invent new pieces through items I already own. Take this skirt…it’s actually a dress! I wore the beautiful Joie frock to a bridal shower a few weeks ago, and decided to layer an oversized turtleneck sweater on top and pair it with a scarf and some ankle booties for a cool and casj laid back look. Tuesday tip? This method works wonders for dresses that you feel a. you’ve worn too many times, b. are out of style, or c. don’t fit correctly all the way through. They may have a little life left in ’em so give ’em their second chance : )
