When I turned 30, I had a long list of things I was determined to tackle. Taking care of myself has always been a priority but it was time to break down the goal into specific courses of action, one being, a serious skin regimen. I wasn’t sure what was best for my face, so in full confession, I pampered myself with facials every month by different people as part of my so called “method” to see how they’d diagnose my skin, and find out what cleansers, moisturizers, serums, toners and such they’d recommend (I also have eczema around my eyes so finding the right products that don’t irritate but alleviate have been a challenge). It wasn’t until months later when a friend recommended meeting with Ramona Cline who was my game changer. I threw out the overwhelming 7 step regimens I’d learned, stuck to my simple Aveeno face wash routine, and became a full on fanatic of her eye serum and face cream which I now, don’t leave the house without (which by the way, are both 20% off here through the weekend)!
Step 1: Wash your face with your preferred product. I’ve used Aveeno for many years now, and I love their oatmeal infused cleanser.
Step 2: Put a dabble of Ramona Cline’s Intensive Eye Serum on your ring finger. Tap your other ring finger against it so both hands have their share, and simply dab the product over and under your eyes.
Step 3: Take about a dime or two size scoop of Ramona Cline’s Moisturizer (I love the Peach Wine infused cream, but she also offers Shea). Don’t rub, but pat the cream on and around your face until it’s nicely absorbed into your skin. It’s pretty thick, so use more or less of the product pending your preference.
And there you have it! It’s simple and sweet, and pretty much like candy to your face. I seriously get so excited to do my face in the morning and night and I feel so much more confident in leaving home sans makeup.
