like PJs, but not

Wow! What a day yesterday. I feel so incredibly relaxed, loved and grateful to have spent my 31st birthday with my hub and good friends. We had plans to go away, but since our schedules were a bit limiting, decided to do a staycation which let me tell you, is sooooo underrated! After we did some morning work accompanied by a delicious breaskfast at Groundworks (fave!), we cooped up at Malibu Beach Inn (about 15 minutes from where we live) and spent the day on the beach with sun, ocean, walks and rose – all – day. Got ready and strolled on down to Little Beach House for dinner with close friends at an ocean view table that was literally on the water. I’m definitely the go-go-go type a girl, so it was nice to embrace the day in a super relaxed way without feeling rushed. I know this year will be the best year yet for me, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Back at work today, but feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the week. And BTW, how great is this shorts set by T by Alexander Wang? I mean, it’s like wearing pajamas all day, but not. I’m also wearing MiuMiu Sunglasses (available through Ditto’s Endless Eyewear Program for free for a month with code: CARLYKENIHAN), Chanel loafers (sold out but similar here) and Coach Bag (sold out but similar here).
